Radio presenter gives birth live on air

A US radio presenter has given birth live on air.
Cassiday Proctor, who presents a morning show on a local station in St. Louis, intentionally broadcast the labour and Cesarean section to her listeners.
After she went into labour the station worked with the hospital to follow her movements.
The unusual decision was not pre-planned, but Cassiday said she was thrilled with the last-minute choice.
"It was amazing to be able to share the most exciting day of my life with our radio listeners," she said, adding that giving birth on air was "an extension of what I already do every day on our radio show [as] I share all aspects of my life with the [listeners]".
Proctor has since proudly shared pictures of her baby, who has been called Jameson after an on-air competition was held earlier this year for listeners of her show to choose a name.
The birth show has been uploaded to the radio station, The Arch, for listeners who couldn’t hear it live.
