LAFM and Chilli FM General Manager Package including OTE and benefits circa ~$160k+ Bass Radio Pty Ltd as the licensee of LAFM and Chilli FM, based in Launceston Tasmania, is looking for a General Manager to lead our business well into the future. Being responsible for two service areas, Launceston and Scottsdale, the General Manager position, based in Launceston, is both busy and pivotal. As the General Manager, you will be a seasoned media sector professional with a deeply practical, demonstrable and proven knowledge in media leadership. You will be commercially astute with commercial savvy and a contemporary people leadership approach. The delivery of compelling localism and deep community engagement is key to our success. Leading, nurturing, coaching, training, setting the pace and standard and keeping the team on track via strong planning and coordination are but some of the critical skills that will make you successful leading this flagship Tasmanian radio business. The successful General Manager will be out and about in the community, engaging with agents, clients and advocating for the station and supporting civic leadership as he/she goes about business on a day-to-day basis.
