Podcast Producer Mamamia, Australia's premier women's media network is looking for a passionate Podcast Producer to join our growing Podcast team. The Podcast Producer is responsible for supporting the Hosts of the show by managing the administration and technical side of the podcast, focusing in particular on recording and editing. About the Role We are looking for a creative, experienced individual who is passionate about developing innovative content. Strategise ways to execute new show ideas • Produce and edit 2-3 podcasts a week as required • Source story ideas and concepts, conduct research and reach out to talent to appear in the podcasts • Work with the commercial team to deliver quality sponsorships • Assist in the growth of the podcast network through research and promotion of the podcasts • Coordinate with the audience development team to schedule podcasts • Write scripts for relevant shows based on talent and Senior Podcast Producer and Director of Podcasts recommendations • Give notes on drafts and episode cuts • Identify new writers, producers and creative talent About You • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Producer • Relevant tertiary qualifications, radio communications preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Thorough understanding of the Mamamia audience, and how to best reach them • Extensive experience in sound editing • Convey complex information and stories in a clear and engaging way for listeners. • Work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Create new ideas and shows from scratch that can reach large audiences • Highly organised • Problem-solving skills • Sound knowledge of talent management skills What we offer • A fun, dynamic and collaborative workplace culture • Access to Learning and Development • A day off for your birthday (mama-me day!) • Free breakfast daily (toast, coffee, tea, fruit) • Leisure and Lifestyle benefits • Culture Club • Purchased Leave Scheme • Paid Parental Leave • Opportunities to get involved with our charity partnerships • Freebies and industry deals • Convenient Surry Hills location Apply now to Deborah Francis here Deborah.Francis@mamamia.com.au
