7NEWS Sydney has a vacancy for a TV News Producer in the Martin Place Newsroom.
You would be working on the 7NEWS 6pm, 4pm, Morning News and Sunrise News programmes.
This role requires roster flexibility, occasional weekend and shift work – and a willingness to work extra hours when the news day demands.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience and skills:
- A love of TV News and understanding of the Sydney News market.
- A solid understanding of media law and ethics.
- The ability to think clearly and act quickly under pressure.
- A willingness to work irregular hours including weekends.
- The type of personality that thrives on hard work and high demands on outcomes.
- A proven ability to liaise and communicate with all levels as well as the confidence to do so under pressure.
- Excellent computer skills and time management skills.
- Maturity of judgement and discretion.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines and in a work environment that can change rapidly and often.
- Meticulous attention to detail and experience in a newsroom
