2BS Gold will move on to the FM band this week.

1503 2BS Gold, owned by Ron and Stephanie Camplin, will become 2BS 95.1 FM this Thursday morning at 7.45 when Federal Member, Andrew Gee will be on hand to officially flick the switch.
 
General Manager, Phil Cole, says “The change to FM comes at a perfect time with owner Ron Camplin recently celebrating 70 years in the commercial radio industry.”
 
Bathurst Broadcasters Operations Manager Technical, Dominic Ingersole, has overseen the work on the broadcast tower on Mt Ovens to the east of Bathurst that will now have “…a new antenna combining the 2BS and B Rock signals and new transmitters that have been shipped in from Italy.”
 
2BS 95.1 FM will run familiar programming with local drive shows in breakfast and afternoon, complimented by national programming including, Ray Hadley Mornings, The Best of Alan Jones, Chris Smith Afternoons, Ross Greenwood’s “Money News”, Steve Price Nights, the Continuous Call Team, My Generation and The Range.
 
1503 2BS Gold will remain on air for one month after the 2BS 95.1 FM frequency commences, with all programs broadcast on both station before the AM facility is shut down in mid-January.
