'Primary Focus' is a new show for South Australians who live on the land, produced and presented by a genuine fourth-generation South Australian farmer Bryan Littlely and will be heard 12-1pm weekdays on 5MU, 5RM, 5AU, 5CS and 5CC.

Primary Focus will reach diverse and vast communities across regional South Australia from March 1, with information on industries that matter most to locals and that underpin the State’s success.

Grant Broadcasters stations in South Australia will get a new state wide program, hosted by Inga Milosic from next week.

This Thursday Eyre Peninsula Broadcasters in Port Lincoln, broadcasting as Magic 899 and 5CC will be hosting a radiothon that aims to raise $10,000 in 10 hours for Thumbs Up For Jack.

Thumbs Up For Jack, has been organised to raise money fast for 7 year old Jack Kemp, who has spent the past four years in and out of hospital battling a rare form of brain cancer, enduring countless procedures and 5 major surgeries in his short life.

Starting this afternoon, South Australia is invited to pull up a stool at the Shovel & Bull.
 
With special guests, games, and a finger on the pulse of South Australia, an afternoon with Chris Dzelde at the Shovel & Bull will keep listeners informed and entertained at the finish of the day.
 
Chris kicks off the show with a bang, giving listeners across the state the chance to see Elton John in concert.
 

The Eyre Peninsula's 765 5CC has some legendary stories regularly retold about dumb jocks who have passed through their studios over time.

General manager Darren Allard has been kind enough to share a few with us:

1. The station was engaged in 25th Birthday celebrations doing a live Breakfast Broadcast on the Port Lincoln foreshore, giving out free egg and bacon sandwiches and coffee.

All staff were in attendance as we logged into the Studio via team viewer on a laptop. So the powers-that-be decided there was no need for studio monitoring.
