Gold FM (13.9) has leapt to the top on the Gold Coast/Tweed, leapfrogging Hot Tomato (13.4), and along with SeaFM (9.4) they have all eased slightly, while triple j (10.0) has moved into third place in the latest GFK survey.

Harvey Norman is the top brand in NSW and QLD

As we gear up for State of Origin Game 2 on Sunday, AirCheck Australia have compared the Top 10 Brands on radio in New South Wales and Queensland over the last four weeks.

Harvey Norman took out the top spot in both states, but NSW aired three times more spots than its counterpart. Sea FM 101.3 Central Coast aired the most spots for the advertiser, while in QLD 92.5 GOLD FM Gold Coast was out in front.
Domayne was the second most advertised brand in both states.

Gold Coast Survey 3, and AJ, Bridge & Spida are #1

Gold FM has moved into a solid second place on the Gold Coast, with an audience gain of 2.2 to give them 14.1 in the latest survey, just behind Hot Tomato's 15.3 (down 0.3) and in front of SEA FM's 10.7 (down 0.9).

GOLDFM's biggest gain is in breakfast with AJ Bridge & Spida gaining 3.0 to move into first place on 14.8, and leapfrogging both SEAFM (11.5) and Hot Tomato (14.4).

On the back of breakfast GOLDFM had solid gains across all sessions.

The Kennedy Molloy Drive program will be heard on Triple M in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast beginning early next year.
The current Rush Hour with Luke Bradnam and Ben Dobbin will finish in December with its hosts told this week that their contract wouldn’t be renewed for the new year.

92.5 Gold FM has launched its annual charity initiative, Give Me 5 for Kids, and raised over $40,000 in the first five days.

The 92.5 Gold FM Breakfast team, Al (replacing Richard who is on leave), Bridge & Spida, auctioned their Breakfast Broadcasts across the week and competed in a ‘Give Me FOOD for Kids’ eating challenge today at the Gold Coast University Hospital launch event.
