AFTRS Open Day Sat August 19

The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) open day is Saturday August 19, inviting people to dive in and discover their creative potential in the radio, podcasting, film and television industries.

In this, the school’s 50th year, anyone considering enrolling or the simply curious can join the day at the Sydney Moore Park campus or online from 10 am to 4 pm.

Director of Teaching and Learning, David Balfour said:

“We invite everyone to come along and hear about our hands-on, industry-focused courses, meet our award-winning expert practitioners, take a School tour, see our passionate students in action and get valuable advice on scholarships, student support and acing your application,” 

There will be a sound stage in full operation as well as a radio studio with interview demonstrations and the opportunity to get behind the mic. Those interested in AFTRS’ short courses, anyone visiting the Open Day and enrolling in a short course will get an exclusive discount.

AFTRS senior staff will be presenting deep dive sessions into each course offering including the Graduate Diploma in Radio and Podcasting.
