ASTRA 9th annual conference: Sydney March 19

The Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) will hold its annual conference on Wednesday March 19 at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney. The conference theme for 2008 is Claiming the Future.

The conference provides a full day’s forum of discussions, presentations and interaction with industry leaders, focusing on the challenges and opportunities in new subscription media.

Highlights of the conference – to be held at the Hilton Sydney – will include the Women in Television breakfast (with Jacinta Tynan of Sky News in discussion with US-based Beth Roberts, who is Executive VP, Cable Entertainment Business Affairs, Digital and New Business Development, with NBC Universal), a leading keynote speaker and a luncheon event.
