Wooing fans through guts and some glory.

Relying on the old adage (that we’ve shamelessly adapted from the original) that the way to a listeners’ heart is through their stomach, GOLD 104.3’s breakfast duo Brig and Lehmo donned a cap and apron to serve footy fans 1400 slices of wood fried pizza and over a 1000 cans of soft drink in just an hour and a half.
 
They figured that with all the talk around Melbourne about how much it costs to take your family to an AFL game these days, they could win some crowd cred by feeding footy fans on their way to the game, saving them a fortune once there.

 
So they parked a food truck outside the MCG at the Collingwood V West Coast match last  Saturday. The feedback was, unsurprisingly, somewaht better than for Joe Hockey’s budget.
