Golden Days Radio announcer and Community Radio volunteer, Paul Mason, passed away on 2nd May in his 90th year.
Up until just months ago Paul was still doing some voice overs was on air at North West FM.
Along with his wife of 61 years, Elaine, he presented Saturday night’s Stepping Out With Memories until November last year, and for over 40 years Paul had been a presenter and volunteer at several Victorian community radio stations.

95.7fm revives Golden Days of the radio serial

It's the mid-1950s and a group of friends and colleagues travel each day on the Glen Huntly tram.

Produced in the studios of Golden Days Radio, 95.7fm, a community radio station licensed to service senior citizens, “The Adventures on the Glen Huntly Tram” takes over where radio drama and long-running ABC serial, “Blue Hills” left off in September 1976.

Vale Bob Horsfall OAM: Funeral Details

Veteran Radio Announcer and entertainer Bob Horsfall has passed away in Melbourne.

In an entertainment career that began in the 1930s and continued right up until his passing, Bob worked at many stations in Victoria and NSW. In recent years he had a shift on Golden Days Radio

The President of Golden Days Radio, Larry James has announced Peter Smith OAM has accepted an invitation to become patron.

He takes over from their first patron Nobby Clark AO.

In accepting the invitation, Peter says “I would be honoured to accept the position and the significance of following on from such a well loved identity as Nobby Clark AO is certainly not lost on me”.
