Golden Days Radio embraces the future

Community broadcaster, Golden Days Radio 95.7 FM, which bill’s itself as Melbourne’s Premier Seniors’ Broadcaster, is now streaming on the World Wide Web.

Golden Days President, Larry James says, “This means that our sound can now be heard in pristine stereo through a computer by anyone in the world with a broadband connection.”

Listeners can logon to the website www.3gdr.asn.au and click on the old-style radio.

Mr James said “We’ve had so many requests from lovers of radio as it used to be outside our broadcast area, particularly overseas visitors who’ve heard us here and told us they have nothing like the Golden Days Radio sound where they live.

“We’re so proud to be able to tell them they can now hear us as if they were right here in Melbourne,” said Mr James
