Survey results for Toowoomba, Queensland have been released.
In the first survey of Toowoomba radio since 2016, Hit 100.7 Darling Downs (previously Hot FM) dominates, especially in the 10-39 demographic.
While the station is down by 4.5% overall, they have 26.5% of the market, well ahead of the ABC Southern Queensland 14.1 with Triple M Darling Downs 864 (formally 4GR) on 11.3%
triple j lost 1.6 overall to be down to 6.6 with most of their losses coming in the 18 – 24’s, down 8.9 to 15.1.
Other stations heard in some parts of the market include 4AK and 4WK, and the ABC’s national networks.
The survey was conducted for CRA by Xtra Insights, between 6-25 August 2018. The previous survey in this region was conducted two years ago, in 2016.

Session by session, Hit 100.7 leads across the day despite losing 3.8 in breakfast (27.9), most of which appears to have gone to Triple M, up by 3.1 to 11.0. The ABC is still 2nd in breakfast on 15.5.
