Big Day Out organisers have announced sideshows for Kanye West and Soundgarden, with both set to take in Sydney and Melbourne early next year.
West will perform with yet-to-be-announced special guests on Friday January 27 at Sydney’s Entertainment Centre and at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Tuesday January 31.
The rapper will perform at the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, for the Big Day Out festival.
Seattle rock band Soundgarden will mark their return to Australia with two Big Day Out sideshows with LA quintet The Bronx on Wednesday January 25 in Sydney and Wednesday February 1. The Australian and New Zealand dates mark the first time the band have toured outside the U.S. in fifteen years.
Tickets were available from mid-October, yet none of the festivals have sold out yet. Tickets for each sideshow go on sale Tuesday 6 December at 9am from ticketmaster.com.au.
