Tony Thomas leaves Nova

After nine years as Chief Marketing Officer for NOVA Entertainment Tony Thomas has resigned and will leave at the end of this week.

“Since 2010, Tony has played a critical role in the development, growth and success of NOVA. We are incredibly grateful for the contribution he has made.

His achievements include rebranding dmg Radio to NOVA Entertainment, helping take Nova to the number one national network and developing an outstanding team of marketing professionals,” says Cathy O’Connor, NOVA Entertainment CEO.

Fitzy joins Raise as an Ambassador

Nova radio host Ryan Fitzgerald is joining Raise, The Youth Mentoring Foundation as an Ambassador.
 
Raise Foundation is committed to impacting the wellbeing of young people through its early intervention, best practice in school mentoring programs.
 
Fitzy was introduced to Raise when he chose to be a part of their new, national creative campaign, Letters To My Mentor, developed by creative agency Channelzero to broaden awareness and drive mentor recruitment.

Born and raised in Melbourne, she returns to her hometown to join Triple M from KRock in Geelong where she currently she co-hosts the Breakfast show.
 

Fifi Fev & Byron retake the lead: Survey 4 Cumes

Fifi Fev and Byron at FOX FM retake the lead as Australia’s biggest breakfast program with 661,000(up 51,000) from Kyle & Jackie O on 605,000 listeners.
 
The NOVA stations in Melbourne and Sydney both did well with Chrissy Sam & Browny (571,000) and Fitzy & Wippa (568,000) both gaining audience.

One of Australia’s most successful female artists, Jessica has just released her new single ‘Little Things’, the second single from her fourth studio album ‘Jessica Hilda Mauboy’, which is set for release in October.

Bronte makes her on-air debut from within the Hit Network family, moving from her most recent position on the Gold Coast as 90.9Sea FM’s Promotions Manager. Prior to this she worked at Nova in Brisbane and Gold FM in Melbourne.
