Radio Adelaide manager resigns

Rado Adelaide manager Chris Leese has resigned.

The station recently had an appeal for funds, which helped somewhat, but it has had ongoing funding issues since being cut loose from Adelaide University in 2016.

The Wire is a collaborative production model led by Sydney's 2ser 107.3, Radio Adelaide, and Brisbane's 4EB, and supported by other stations during the year.
 

Radio Adelaide gets enough to keep the doors open

Radio Adelaide have achieved their first goal of raising $50,000 desperately needed to keep the station onair.
 
The community broadcaster began a campaign and last ditch stand to save the station from closure in January 2020, seeking an urgent influx of $50,000 to fill a shortfall in funding.
 
This will allow Radio Adelaide to keep the doors open until mid-2020 when financial partnerships with organisations such as the CMTO, will come into effect.

Community broadcaster, Radio Adelaide, has begun a campaign and last ditch stand to save the station from closure in January 2020.
 
Save Radio Adelaide is seeking an urgent influx of $50,000 to fill a shortfall in funding that will allow them to keep the doors open until mid-2020 when financial partnerships with organisations such as the Community Media Training Organisation, will come into effect.
 

Radio Adelaide members will meet Monday to discuss the station's future

The board and staff of community broadcaster Radio Adelaide are holding a special member meeting on Monday for all financial members and volunteers to discuss the future of the station.
 
Since parting ways with University of Adelaide and going out on its own, Radio Adelaide has struggled to find the revenue required to keep the station operational, and has now reached a critical juncture, requiring what they are describing as “…an urgent change of direction and decisions to be made.”

Radio Adelaide axes staff after 'disappointing' fundraising result

Radio Adelaide has axed its manager Rob Popplestone and paid breakfast presenter Jennie Lenman after the station failed to achieve fundraising targets in its recent radiothon.

The station moved to new premises and reshaped its management and staffing after Adelaide University cut funding and sold its building last year.

ABC and Radio Adelaide settle name dispute out of court
