Radio reimagined in Victoria’s covid lockdown

While Victorians wait for their lockdown to end, the state’s annual seniors festival has taken its audio component online.

Rado plays are back, as well as other creative audio. This year’s program includes:

  • Music and entertainment features from nostalgia to contemporary artists
  • Radio plays, including recordings of works by Alan Hopgood and Agatha Christie and modern writers
  • New plays commissioned by the Victorian Seniors Festival
  • A fantastic mix of spoken word, poetry and prose from Australian writers and performers

Tracks and playlists of festival radio content are available for listening offline. See the playlist below.

Victorian community radio broadcasters will air the festival programs on their stations. Details at the Local Radio Schedule page.
