Adelaide community radio station, Fresh 92.7 listenership has rised to 378,000 people, wrapping up an incredibly successful 2018.

Listeners seem to be making the switch to triple j's Ben and Liam while other shows are still on holidays.

This morning the pair took calls from listeners who were trying Triple J for the first time while their favourite commercial announcers were still on holidays.

They heard from people who normally listen to Fi Fev and Byron on Fox and Kyle and Jackie on KIIS.

"Hopefully we can keep you for a few more weeks until the others come back," said the pair to one KIIS listener.

Ebony Boadu to host triple j House Party

triple j’s new House Party host is 23 year old hip hop and dance aficionado Ebony Boadu.

Ebony grew up in Western Sydney listening to her parent’s Afrobeat and reggae collections, as well as indie rock anthems thanks to her Guitar Hero addiction, and was a regular listener to Nina Las Vegas hosting triple j’s House Party back in the day, which is what got her into electronic music.
