It was a Pure Gold Survey 5 for ARN with both the brand’s stations going up in the money markets of Sydney and Melbourne.
Sydney’s WSFM did the better of the two, posting a 0.7 gain to go to a 9.3 share which puts them at #1 FM and #2 overall in Sydney.
Melbourne’s GOLD 104.3 waxed a mere 0.2 but it was enough to “catapult” the station into second place on the FM band behind smooth and a faltering FOX.
Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Amanda Keller have renewed their breakfast show contracts for three more years at ARN’s WSFM.
Now in their 12th year together on WSFM, Jonesy & Amanda are one of Sydney’s most successful and loved breakfast teams.
In recent years, Jonesy & Amanda have claimed the #1FM Breakfast crown multiple times in radio survey ratings, taken home the coveted industry award for Best On Air Team at the 2012 and 2014 ACRAs and are currently Sydney’s #2FM breakfast team.
In the latest episode of the podcast You’ve Gotta Start Somewhere, host Rachel Corbett has sat down with WSFM's Brendan Jones.

It's the competition that's got the nation talking and finally the women of Australia have declared Brendan 'Jonesy' Jones Australia's Hottest Radio Hunk.
Jonesy beat more than 40 radio announcers to the 'prestigious accolade'. After over 5000 votes were cast, funny-man and all-round nice guy Jonesy was surprised on air by his WS-FM co-host Amanda Keller and Take 5 Editor-in-chief, Paul Merrill.
Bryce Ruthven is leaving the Hitz 939 breakfast show Bryce & Trace.
