2Day and Nova share almost one third of their music in Sydney

According to AirCheck Australia, during April, 2DayFM and Nova969 had the highest playlist crossover, with almost a third of tracks spun on both stations.

With 1,458 songs aired on the two stations, 2DayFM played a wider range of music while The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’ was the top shared track earning 343 spins.

Comparing Nova to KIIS1065, 315 tracks were shared across the two stations, equating to a 27.9% crossover. WSFM and 2DayFM had the lowest crossover of 10.1% with only 192 songs spun on both stations.

Triple M v WSFM and WSFM v smoothfm both had similar crossovers – 22.7% and 23.3% respectively. Men At Work’s ‘Down Under’ was the most played track on Triple M and WSFM with 28 instances while for WSFM and smoothfm it was Toto’s ‘Africa’ earning 47 spins.

Nova969 played the most music during this time, with a total of 9,701 instances, meanwhile Triple M aired the widest range of music with 1,607 different songs played.
