2UE holds public forum before NSW State Election

2UE will host a special live broadcast in Parramatta on Tuesday, February 24th in the lead up to the NSW State Election to give voters the chance to have their say.

Called Your Say, the election forum will be hosted by 2UE Mornings’ presenter Stuart Bocking and will be attended by several NSW Ministers including Transport Minister Gladys Berejiklian, Treasurer Andrew Constance and Education Minister Adrian Piccoli. Shadow Ministers will also take part in the debate.

The Ministers will answer questions live from the floor and from listeners who call into the show, with Bocking moderating, as 2UE helps tackle the issues and concerns affecting NSW voters in the lead up to the election on March 28th.

The Your Say election forum will be held at Parramatta Leagues Club from 9.00am until 12.00pm and 2UE will provide a free breakfast for first 150 listeners through the door.

“The theme of 2UE’s state election coverage is ‘Your Say 2015’ as that is what 2UE is all about, giving our listeners a voice. The Your Say election forum puts 2UE listeners in direct contact with the state’s decision makers. Listeners both at the forum and on the phone will be able ask the state Government ministers and their counterparts from the Opposition questions directly about the issues that matter to them,” 2UE Content Director Clinton Maynard said.

“News Talk radio is one of the few mediums that can give audiences direct contact with our leaders and 2UE will provide that, starting with the Your Say Election forum, and then right throughout the 2015 NSW election campaign.”

The New South Wales state election is scheduled for 28th March.
