River 94.9 FM will celebrate International Women’s Day, with an all-female line-up from 9am.
Following breakfast with Marnie and Campo, beginning at 9am, it’s all about the women with Marnie’s 94 Minutes of Non-Stop Music, Ali Fyfe will take over from 10am to 2pm and the day will finish off with Michelle Anderson from 2pm – 6pm.
A couple of benchmarks are also going to get a woman’s touch with River 94.9’s Gr-eighties airing from 12pm – 1pm becoming “Ladies of the Gr-eighties”, the Music Panel’s 4 at 4 will be songs requested only by River 94.9 female Music Panel Members and the Music Masters game show at 5pm will showcase two female listeners battling out to attend the next River 94.9 listener party.
River 94.9 is also a major sponsor of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce International Women’s Day Lunch with keynote speaker Libby Trickett and Marnie will be hosting Ipswich Chamber of Commerce’s International Women’s Day Morning Tea on 11 March 2019 with keynote speaker Kitty Chiller.
