92.7 MIX FM will broadcast live from France on Armistice Day

This Sunday, to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the World War 1 Armistice, 92.7 MIX FM’s Mark & Caroline will broadcast live from Villers Bretonneux, France.

The special broadcast from 9am to 11am will feature stories of Sunshine Coast locals who served, as well as speaking to residents of the region on the impact of the Australian Troops during the battles leading to the Armistice at 11am on the 11th of November.

Mark Darin says, “It will be a great honour to follow in the footsteps of these heroes – including my grandfather”.

Caroline Hutchinson says, “In WW1 more Australians had close associations with the battles around France than with Gallipoli. There are so many local stories and Mark and I can’t wait to bring those stories to air”.

92.7 MIX FM listeners will be taken on a journey of remembrance and thanks for those who served and who still serve today.

Mark & Caroline’s Armistice Day Live from France can be streamed online via the station’s website.
