ABC releases guide to get pronunciation rite

Always sticklers for saying things proper, the ABC has released a guide for presenters to help with the pronunciation of names, places, and other terms not typically found in the dictionary.

The guide can be accessed at home, work or on the road, using a mobile phone, tablet, or computer.

If you’re not sure whether “OO” is meant to sound like “book” or “too”, the Pronunciation Guide will help you.

There is also a suggestion box if there is a word presenters or journalists would like added to the list.

So spell and talk right… rite… write…

OK.
