ABC666 tops Canberra survey 3

ABC Radio’s local Canberra station 666 has topped the national capital’s ratings this survey.

ABC666 rose 1.0 share points to score 17.4% overall.

FM104.7 was second on 17.0% after a dip of 0.3 share points.

Third placed Mix 106.3 suffered a 1.7 share point fall to 15.1%, followed by ABC Classic FM, which had the largest rise of the survey, gaining 1.7 share points to 9.9%.

Fifth place was shared by two ABC stations, youth network triple j, which had the biggest fall of the survey, losing 1.9 share points to score 8.1%, and Radio National, up 0.5 to 8.1%.

2CC was next with 6.3%, a drop of 0.7, followed by 2CA, up 0.1 to 5.6%. NewsRadio scored 4.0%, up 0.7.

ABC666’s Philip Clark won breakfast ahead of FM1047. Mix won mornings, FM1047 won afternoons and drive, ABC666 won evenings and weekends.

FM1047 won the under 40 demographics, Mix won 40-54s and ABC666 won the over 55 demographics.

The survey was conducted for CRA between Sat May 4 to Sun Jun 28 and Sun Jul 27 to Sat Sept 20, 2014.
