Ace Radio‘s ‘The Morning Crew’ breakfast show with Gabi (James) and Dan (Robinson) made national news this morning after a successful on-air stunt.
During the week Gabi and Dan had listeners call in to send a message to Katy Perry, and they would write it on a square of toilet paper and ‘Toilet Squarey for Katy Perry’ was a strong performer on the phones.
The next step was sending show producer Yas Nelson to the Katy Perry concert at Bright for her to present the roll of loo paper to the pop queen.
Katy accepted the roll, saying ‘”might need this'”and later asked if it was “worth $80”.
The Morning Crew with Gabi and Dan airs on Ace stations TRFM, Mixx FM Swan Hill, Hamilton and Horsham, and Edge FM Wangaratta and Deniliquin.
