Adele tops Aussie spins

In the first week of release Adele’s album 25 sold over 3 million copies in the USA.
 
In its second week, it also sold a million copies, the first recorded instance of an artist doing so since sales tracking data began in 1991.

In Australia, Adele hit the top spins position with 1016 spins, almost 200 spins more than the next artist, MNEK & Zara Larsson, singing Never Forget You.
 
Taylor Swift, who is in Australia, was the 11th most played artist on Australian radio.
