After successful diversity live AFL match calls in Sudanese (Dinka), Greek, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin languages, the NEMBC and 3ZZZ Digital together with the AFL are continuing with multicultural live calls in Hindi for Round 18: Geelong Cats v. Hawthorn this Sunday.

Executive Producer, Fiv Antoniou, says that “Hindi broadcasters Harbir Singh Kang and Renu Tiwary will be at the MCG to broadcast the live match call which is an integral part of being inclusive in promoting diversity within the AFL. The League has realised the value of awarding NEMBC MEDIA with its broad national membership, an opportunity to promote the AFL in 7 languages through weekly AFL News radio podcasts, TV broadcasts and live AFL match day diversity calls. This week’s NEMBC Hindi language live broadcast can be heard on 3ZZZ digital on-line.

“Special diversity guest this week on the NEMBC’s Multicultural AFL Radio podcast and TV Panel Show, is young women’s AFLW protégé sensation from the Yarra Magpies Academy, Alexya Charalambous.”

The NEMBC, AFL Television and Radio productions will cover the entire 2019 AFL season inclusive of the Finals.
