Alan Jones has no regrets as he begins a new program on Sky

As Alan Jones prepares to undertake his new nightly program on Sky News, he appears to have little regret about leaving 2GB.

Alan told the Australian (subscription required) that recently, “I managed to get a few days to myself. I went up to see my stallions in the Hunter Valley and see that they’re all in good shape. So it’s been good, and I’ve had lots of sleep-ins and a few coffees on the veranda looking out at the harbour which I haven’t been able to do for years and years, so I’m not complaining.”

Leaving the 2.30am early rise behind, Jones says he has not listened to any radio programs “I’ve never, ever listened to another radio program because at the end of the day you want to be your own person,” adding that he wishes both of his replacements, Ben Fordham on 2GB and Neil Breen on 4BC, well.
