ARN’s first year of VRC partnership wraps up.

ARN’s two-year partnership with Victoria Racing Club (VRC) for the Melbourne Cup Carnival is off to a flying start, as the biggest sporting and social event on the national calendar wrapped up over the weekend.
This is the first year ARN was appointed as the official FM radio partner for VRC’s Members Only areas over the club’s four key annual race days including the Derby, Melbourne Cup, Oaks and Stakes Day.

KIIS 101.1’s The Glasshouse was a specially designed area that provided premium entertainment and activations for the coveted Nursery Enclosure, treating guests with a money-can’t-buy experience as soon as they walked through the green-filled space.

KIIS 101.1’s Matt & Meshel and The 3pm Pick-Up on the KIIS national network gave listeners the chance to win their way into The Glasshouse, a colourful space complete with hanging plants and bespoke KIIS fairy floss bouquets.

Celebrities including Hannah and Clint from this season of The Block, and KIIS 101.1’s day time presenter Joel Gelding and Breakfast co-host Matt Tilley also attended.

Next door to the vibrant marquee, KIIS 101.1 kept the whole Nursery entertained inviting DJs Laura Mac and Andy Murphy to provide the soundtrack for the crowd at The Playpen main stage.

GOLD 104.3 also played a key role over the Carnival with Jo & Lehmo hosting hosting passionate punters in The Precinct. The location was on a trackside balcony with a perfect view of the action, while dedicated Gold Roadies delivered food and drinks to listeners all day who had won the ‘Jokes for Oaks’ on air campaign.

Sydney’s KIIS 1065 also celebrated Australia’s biggest race day with an activation at Barangaroo’s Emirates Melbourne Cup Day Live Site, as part of the partnership with the VRC.
