Anzac Day on ABC Radio

Live broadcast from the Australian War Memorial.

ABC Radio will broadcast the dawn service from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, hosted by ABC Rural’s National Political Reporter, Anna Vidot.

ABC will bring live crosses and updates across the day.

From Monday 23 through until Wednesday 25 April on abc.net.au/radio and the ABC listen App listeners can access a selection of Anzac stories and the Roll of Honour Project, as well as live coverage of various services and marches.

This year is also the 100th anniversary of the re-capture of the French town of Villers-Bretonneux by the Australians on Anzac Day in 1918. More than 8,000 attendees, including the Australian PM, are expected at the dawn service, which will be broadcast live at 1.30pm AEST from the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux.
