The announcement of Jase Hawkins new breakfast co-host on Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1 has been postponed as he takes some time to attend to family matters.
Just weeks ago, while venting his frustration over a Melbourne couple who broke quarantine and headed to Queensland, Jase informed his audience that his father, who is battling cancer from exposure to asbestos, has been moved to palliative care.
Polly PJ Harding, has moved back to New Zealand, and an announcement on her replacement was due, but an ARN spokesperson says, “The announcement of the new co-host joining Jase Hawkins in Melbourne has been delayed while Jase and his family spend time with his family in Queensland. As Jase & PJ in the Morning listeners know, Jase’s father is very unwell. ARN look forward to revealing who will be joining Jase at KIIS 101.1 very soon.”
