Austereo plans to launch another digital radio station in the next two months according to CEO Guy Dobson.
Dobson has told the Australian Financial Review’s Neil Shoebridge that the new station will be the company’s third permanent digital station, along with Radar and Hot 30 Jelli. Austereo also plans to continue popping up ‘event’ stations such as the recent Pink and AC/DC stations.
Austereo’s main game is still its two FM networks, Today and Triple M, but Dobson says digital platforms will be important for the company into the future.

It would be nice if we could pick up a digital radio signal in Docklands (Melbourne CBD)
