Blayne Treadgold joins Triple M Goldfields

Blayne Treadgold will host Kalgoorlie’s new breakfast show, Blayne for Breakfast, commencing on air next Wednesday 12 August on Triple M Goldfields.

Blayne for Breakfast from 6am to 9am will also be heard in Esperance, with local content in both Kalgoorlie and Esperance supporting the show.

Fresh out of North Metropolitan TAFE, Treadgold has landed his dream role at Triple M and “is super excited to get started in the Goldfields/Esperance regions, especially with such an awesome, iconic network like Triple M.

“I’m hugely grateful for the opportunity and to land my first professional radio gig!”

Triple M North West Group Content Director, Dan Cole, says he is excited to be building the new breakfast show from the ground up.

“We are really excited to be launching a new breakfast show for Kalgoorlie/Esperance and Blayne is a great fit for the region, having worked FIFO in a former life before deciding to chase his dream in commercial radio,” he said.

“We will be focusing heavily on local content while still delivering that great sound and music that people expect from the Triple M brand.”

The Kalgoorlie breakfast role has been vacant for some time, during which time Ray Love has been covering the timeslot. Love will continue to host various on-air shifts for Triple M.
