Boom Radio pair get down and dirty

Every year Redwave Media ‘rents out’ the work experience kids from Boom Radio in Perth to raise funds for the Perth Telethon.

A West Australian based, registered charitable trust that has a philosophy to financially support the medical and social welfare of children and young people, and to fund research into children’s diseases.

Karratha Breakfast host Pablo Miller says, “The last few years we’ve been fairly easy on them; hairdresser, real estate and florist. This year is like no other and lets be fair work experience kids usually get lumped with the crap jobs. Seems fitting to me”

Gill and Christina both from Perth may have wanted to learn about regional radio but instead they headed for a very interesting morning.

Lucky it’s all for charity.
