BTS hits a new high as Dynamite blasts to No.17: AirCheck

K-Pop supergroup BTS reached a new peak this week on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart as ‘Dynamite’ rose 5 places to No.17 with 406 spins.
 
Across Australia, 19 stations spun the track with KIIS 106.5 Sydney ahead of the pack adding 49 instances, followed by its counterpart in Melbourne adding 42 spins. Star 104.5 on the Central Coast added the track this week, while the KIIS network increased spins by 21%. The Hit network went from a single spin across each station last week to 5 spins per station this week.

In its third week on the airwaves, Ariana Grande’s ‘Positions’ hit a new high reaching No.8 with 642 spins. Gaining a massive 188 instances, the song took out our biggest mover title this week. The Edge Sydney was the track’s top supporter this week, adding 52 plays, followed by the Nova network, averaging 47 spins per station and accounting for 37% of the week’s airplay.

Harry Styles entered the chart at No.29 with ‘Golden’. The track earned 207 spins in its seventh week on air, with spins across the Nova, Hit and KIIS network, as well as KRock Geelong, NewFM Newcastle and Star 104.5 on the Central Coast. The Nova network caused the track to rise, almost doubling airplay, from 88 spins last week to 157 this week.
