Today Christmas came early for some Sunshine Coast families with The Sunshine Coast’s Biggest Christmas Surprise on Hot 91.

30 families were invited to a special screening of Arthur Christmas and were greeted with festive cheer by Hot 91’s Sam-ta (aka Sam Coward from Hot 91’s Dave, Sam and Ash) who was paying very particular attention to what was on everyone’s Christmas wish list.

Little did the guests know, that while watching the movie, an army of Hot 91 elves busily shopped up a storm at the Maroochydore Homemaker Centre to make their Christmas wishes come true.

As the movie finished a stack of Christmas presents appeared, wrapped, stacked and delivered by Hot 91.

Program Director, Ronnie Stanton, says “What a thrill to bring a smile to so many Coast families, and who doesn’t love a surprise!”
