Country Music Broadcasters Hall of Fame inductees

Ted Hintz and the late Tom Crozier have been inducted into the Australian Country Music Broadcasters Hall of Fame, at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Ted Hintz is best known in radio for his time with Tamworth radio’s famous “Hoedown” program but is also well known as an announcer at rodeo events, something that brought him to the attention of 2TM executives when they were looking for an addition to the team back in the 1970s.

The late Tom Crozier, originally a member of the famous “Radio Ranch” cast at 2LM  Lismore, had a long career in Australian radio. He was very well known and respected for his involvement with the Federation of Australian Radio Broadcasters and its marketing arm RMB (Radio Marketing Bureau). Tom also worked with Radio for the Print Handicapped (RPH).
