Damien Brown, Drive presenter at ABC Northern Tasmania, has announced he is finishing up on the program, with his final shift being Friday June 20^th.

He said: “I cannot begin to put into words the pride I feel having been given the trust, respect, guidance and beyond all faith in my ability as a broadcaster at the ABC.”

ABC Local Radio Manager, Jocelyn Nettlefold commented, “Damien is a media professional who has connected well with Northern Tasmanian listeners, entertaining and informing them in their local Drive show. We wish him well in the future.

A decision on Damien’s replacement will be made towards the end of the broadcast year. In the interim Hilary Burden will move into the Drive chair.
