DART’s move to St Leonards

Audio commercial delivery service Dart has emerged from a troubled business period and is now located with the video delivery service Dubsat in St Leonards.

Former Sky Radio general manager Brendan Sheedy acquired Dart in April this year and moved the company from its central city headquarters to its new location. Both Dart and Dubsat deliver commercials to stations using satellite transmission, replacing tape dubs. Dart and Dubsat’s major clients are advertising agencies and production companies.

Under Sheedy’s leadership, Dart currently delivers over 3000 commercials each month to computers in 230 radio stations across Australia, and has also recently finalised agreements to service New Zealand stations.

With the move to the new premises, Dart and Dubsat also upgraded their user interface to allow clients to access information and bookings via the internet.

Sheedy has been joined by former Sky Radio staffers Liz Millo, Sandy Campbell, Paul Dengate and Brian Hancock.

Dart is committed to “growing the business and investing in new technology” in the near future. Dart’s major competitor is Southern Cross Syndication (formerly Sky Radio).
