Dave Thornton let management know a month ago and his co-hosts Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Byron Cooke just last week that he was quitting the Melbourne team that he’d been a part of for the past four years.

He’ll be leaving the show at the end of this month.

“Thorno let us know a while ago that he wanted to finish breakfast radio,” Head of Content for the Hit Network Gemma Fordham, told the Herald Sun. “The team has nothing but love for Thorno, we wish him well and hope he enjoys his well deserved sleep ins with his family.”
