Erin & Soda auctioning off signed Novak Djokovic portrait for charity

During the two weeks when tennis superstars were in quarantine at the Majestic M Suites in North Adelaide ahead of the Australian Open, Mix 102.3’s Erin & Soda commissioned South Australian artists to create a portrait of Novak Djokovic.

The portrait caught the eye of the tennis great who signed and endorsed it, saying “it depicts the moment on the court perfectly. I think that’s probably one of the best on-court, passionate paintings I’ve ever seen.”

Artists Mark Lobert and Candice Thomas worked through the early hours to create this astonishing portrait that is now up for auction for charity.

All money raised from this auction will go directly to the Australian Tennis Foundation (ATF) which is Tennis Australia’s Official Charity and aims to inspire brighter futures for children and young people.

ATF is doing some great work and committed over a $130,000 to support bush fire affected communities across SA over a 3-year period including a $40k pledge to the Stokes Bay Tennis Club rebuild on Kangaroo Island.
