Expo ’88 30th anniversary live broadcast

It’s been 30 years since Brisbane hosted the World Expo.

ABC Radio’s Kat Feeney will broadcast live from the South Bank Parklands 2pm – 4pm on Monday 30th April, with music, special guests and a focus on favourites like the Australian Pavilion, New Zealand Pavilion and Munich Beer Haus.

Kat is also hoping to recreate the biggest chicken dance since Expo ’88.

As part of the Expo ’88 30th anniversary celebrations, Kat looks at the legacy it left, how Brisbane’s music scene has evolved and how it has shaped the city’s future.
