Fitzy and Wippa’s Most Aussie BBQ Ever

Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa are set to host the Most Aussie BBQ Ever, to ensure no Australian lambs alone, at Fort Denison on Sydney Harbour on Monday 25 January from 6pm.

Joining Fitzy & Wippa will be Australian legend Daryl Braithwaite, performing his iconic hit, and high profile Lambassador Sam Kekovich.

Fitzy said “You can’t get any more Australian than Sydney Harbour, lamb chops and Daryl Braithwaite singing The Horses.”

Wippa said, “Since the beginning of time Australia day has been made up of singlets, thongs, Aussie music, lamb and beer. Good news, nothing’s changed for this year.”

The Nova Network have teamed up with Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) on their latest Australia Day lamb campaign. Fitzy & Wippa have been supporting MLA’s Operation Boomerang theme by broadcasting live from London all last week, to track down ex-pats who are in danger of lambing alone this Australia Day. Listeners have been able to nominate friends and family to be flown home to join the guys at Fitzy & Wippa’s Most Aussie BBQ Ever for an extended celebration of all things Australian.

Sydney listeners can win the chance to join Fitzy & Wippa’s festivities this Monday night by registering their details on-line at novafm.com.au.

Fitzy & Wippa’s Most Aussie BBQ Ever will be held on Monday 25 January, the day before Australia Day (because working the day before Australia Day would be un-Australian), and the boys will broadcast live from the BBQ from 6pm to 7pm on the Nova Network.
