Forever Classic 2CA and 6iX played their entire music libraries

Taking over 18 days, the stations played over 2300 songs.

Since Boxing Day both played their entire music libraries in alphabetical order from A-Z by song title with the A-Z Of Forever Classics. Last Saturday morning just before midday, both stations reached the finish line.

Starting with the Len Barry classic 1-2-3, the marathon effort ended with Zoom by Fat Larry’s Band. It was no repeat for weeks.

“This fun summer tactic has seen both stations inundated with loads of positive listener feedback loving the music and the fact that we threw out the rules. Well done to the execution from the A-Z mastermind Marc McCreadie and both our on-air teams in Canberra and Perth. Everyone passed the spelling test with flying colours” said Group PD Pete Davidson.

The A-Z of Forever Classics is the main feature of the Endless Summer. The Endless Summer can be heard on all Forever Classic stations in the Capital Radio Network with three months of mini features and countdowns across the day, album specials and themed weekends.
