Former ABC broadcaster Derek Guille is joining Radio KLFM

Derek Guille (pictured) is set to join Radio KLFM in Bendigo and Northern Victoria.

He has already clocked up over 35 years with the ABC firstly at 3WV Horsham, then Managing and presenting Breakfast on ABC Bendigo before moving to the state-wide Victoria afternoon show and finally hosting evenings on 3LO ABC Melbourne and Regionals across Victoria.

Since retirement in 2014, Derek decided that now time was right for a return to radio, and Radio KLFM Central Victoria is the station he will now be heard on.

General Manager Brad Geier says “I’m so delighted that Derek has agreed to join the team here at KLFM along such other respected broadcasters such as Ian “Nicko” Nicholls, Russ Street and Graeme Turpie to name a few”

“Derek has such a huge following in Central Victoria and initial feedback that Derek is joining KLFM has been overwhelming.”

Derek is due to commence on Tuesday November 16th on KLFM 96.5FM Bendigo and Northern Victoria, 106.3FM Castlemaine and South Central Victoria or on line via the KLFM App or website www.klfm.com.au
