Free job ads on radioinfo during August and September 2020

There’s no doubt, times are tough and jobs are tight in our industry at the moment due to the pandemic.

This month, hundreds of staff have received redundancy noticesand radio workers have had their hours or salaries reduced.

In the podcast world, production companies have cut back the hours of freelancers and contractors. In all our audio industry sectors, sales are down and sales jobs are scarce.

All this in the first month of the new financial year, when new jobs are usually booming.

Here at radioinfo we have decided to do what we can to help.

We are making all our job ads free from today all through the months of August and September.

If you are looking for staff and have a job to fill, advertise it with us.

Any job booked up to 30 September will not be charged. Our usual costs are up to $200 per job (less than Seek and much more targeted to the people you want to hire), but for the next month they are $0.

Our readership figures are commercial in confidence, so we don’t publish them in detail, but here is a taste of who is reading radioinfo:

  • Newsletters sent to over 50,000 people six days each week
  • Targeted job email alerts sent to those looking for jobs as soon as a job is posted. Want to sign up for a job alert? Here’s how.
  • Readership: 160,000 pages last month
  • Advertisers report that most jobs posted get immediate responses and are often filled before the deadline

People in all job categories read radioinfo, because we have articles that cover topics of interest to them all: Sales (Bryson & Pead), Programming, Audio Engineering, Production, Presenting, Music Directing, Podcasting, Engineering, Technology, News, Promotions/Marketing and more.

With the Jobseeker eligibility criteria about to change, mandating that job seekers must apply for at least one job per week, ads placed on the generic job boards will yield you lots of responses, but will they be the people with the experience and skills you want? Or will they just be a job seeker who needs to show that they applied for any job this week? That won’t happen when you place your job on radioinfo, all our readers have industry experience and work in all job categories in the radio, podcast and associated audio industries.

Over the past couple of months we have had unprecedented demand from experienced qualified job seekers asking us about jobs, so there is a large group of our readers who are currently on the lookout for a new job. We want to help them out by making sure that every opportunity is listed here. If you are employer with a job to fill, let us know so we can help our readers find their next opportunity.

Even if you would not normally post a job category such as administrator, receptionist, or something else with us, why not try it out, there’s nothing to lose, it won’t cost you anything and you may find an amazing person to fill that job.

Help us keep our industry working during this tough time, email your job to us at [email protected] or sign in and load a job directly at our self serve page (you must be logged in so we can verify the job, creating a login account is free).
