GOLD 104.3’s Jo & Lehmo gave away a $2.4m home in Brighton this morning to teachers Shane and Lynne Regan from Knoxfield.
 
Shane had bought a ticket in the Royal Melbourne Hospital Home Lottery, which has been running since 2005 to support patient care and medical research.
 
The $2.4 m Glenvill home in Brighton East comes fully furnished and decorated, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a double car garage, study and alfresco dining area.
 
This year’s home lottery was the fastest sell out to date and Jo & Lehmo who are ambassadors for the RMH Home Lottery, called Shane live on air this morning to reveal he had won.

 
Following stunned silence, the primary school Principal could only tell them he thought this was a joke, and that he was lying in bed at home sick from work today.
 
Jo & Lehmo then phoned his wife who is also a school teacher, and Shane told Lynne live on air they’d won the life-changing home. It was a lovely moment on air for a couple who say they’ve had an ‘interesting journey’ over the years.

The couple will have a tour for the first time this afternoon in their new house.
