Tuesday 09 October, 2018

Radio ratings for Gosford commercial radio stations 101.3 Sea FM107.7 2GO and Star 104.5 have been released.

Star 104.5 (16.7) is the most listened to station, just in front of Sea FM (16.6), a reversal of the last survey, and despite both stations losing audience.

2GO also shed some audience, down 0.9 to 10.8, with triple j gaining 2.0 to move to within striking distance on 8.7.

Ash and Gawndy on SEA FM lead in breakfast with Star not far behind, and 2GO slipping 0.8 to 9.7 into 4th place behind an improving triple j breakfast, up by 2.8 to 9.8.
SCA’s stations, SEA FM and 2GO have 27.4 of the total listenership and split the under and over 40 demographics between them.
The survey by Xtra Insights was conducted on the NSW Central Coast between 10-29 September 2018 with 1,200 participants.
Commercial Radio Australia’s CEO, Joan Warner, says “The strength of the broadcasting in Gosford is reflected in our upcoming Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs), with 16 finalists from the region competing for a coveted ACRA at the awards on the 20 October.”
Gosford is the 76th regional survey to be released since CRA introduced a new system for regional radio ratings which allowed smaller radio markets to undertake more regular, reliable and cost-effective audience measurement.
