Hadley ‘sick to the back teeth’ of transmission problems

Triple M on the NSW Mid North Coast has been having trouble with the feed of the Ray Hadley show, and Ray is not happy about it.

“I’ve investigated this personally because I’m getting sick to the back teeth of complaints from listeners from Triple M on the Mid North Coast,” Hadley told listeners this week.

He got an email from a listener asking who was responsible. “It’s not us, the signal goes out,” he said.

“We have 37% of the audience in Port Macquarie. I imagine they’re selling a lot of advertising on the back of my program. So they need to improve things,” he said, suggesting that the SCA station gets a panel operator.

“I value network stations highly. That’s why I try to do a show that encompasses network stations, but I’m sick of complaints coming particularly from stations on Mid North Coast of NSW about constant interruptions to my programming. So I’m asking our executives to speak to Southern Cross executives about a revolutionary idea. Put a panel operator on!”

With SCA’s regional hub relocating to its World Square headquarters in Sydney from next week, the problem may be resolved by the centralisation of the feed.
