Hawkesbury Radio’s sports coverage

Community Station Hawkesbury Radio 89.9 FM has acquired the NRL rights to the Penrith Panthers home and away games, as well as the rights to both the Jim Beam Cup and the Penrith Emus games this year.

“Not too shaddy for a community station,” says Director of Hawkesbury Radio Noel Selby.

Gary Haines and Michael Golikov will call the NRL and Jim Beam Cup matches with Jonathon Lee as Sideline Eye and ex Parrmatta first grader Dave Woods as Co/Commentator.

Commentating the Shute Shield and Tooheys New Cup Rugby Union matches will be Noel Selby and Pete Ryan the Ex Commissioner on the sideline will be Ben Reay who is having his first year with the team.

The station will also be covering the local Penrith ‘A’ Grade Matches with Peter Jolly heading the team. Peter Jolly was a winner of the 2GB phantom caller competition.
